Cedric Muller (rmboxing)

Cédric MULLER du RMB après une bonne préparation au RMBGYM, a  relevé
le défi le 5 décembre dernier, de combattre Saiyok PUNPAMUANG sur ces terres
à 13h, sous le soleil de Bangkok et devant les caméras de TV9.

Gaylor Montier était de la partie et s’est incliné de justesse après un superbe combat
face à Peeraphat Sirireung.

Après la cérémonie d’usage de remerciement des sponsors et de la consécration
de l’anniversaire du roi de Thaïlande, le combat commença par le Ramuay.

Les premiers rounds furent très équilibrés et engagés avec deux combattants
qui se sont fait face sans au centre du ring.

Le tournant du fight se déroulera au 4ème round, après une accélération de
Saiyok, l’arbitre décide de mettre un terme à la rencontre en faveur de Saiyok.
C’est la stupeur dans le coin de Cédric…

 

Une interview auprès de Cédric afin de nous éclaircir sur ses impressions:

Tout d’abord je tenais à remercier ma famille et amis, de me soutenir.
Je remercie Rachid SAADI et le RMB Pattaya de m’avoir offert cette
formidable opportunité.

Les conditions étaient particulièrement difficiles, en effet à 13h sous
le soleil de Bangkok (35°) est l’adversaire n°1.

Même si je me suis senti à l’aise techniquement durant les trois premiers
rounds, au corps à corps et réussissant deux balayages, J’ai senti une grande
faiblesse m’envahir progressivement. Au 4eme round je subis tous les coups
de mon adversaire en n’ayant que la force de me protéger par des blocages
et saisis. Je choisis de récupérer un second souffle sur cette reprise pour tout
donner au 5eme.

Cependant, 20sec avant la fin du 4eme, l’arbitre me stoppe soudainement
après un corps à corps. Je n’avais pourtant pas subit de K-out  et les coups
de mon adversaire étaient bloqués. Je ne peux réfuter la décision de l’arbitre
car il a agit, je présume, pensant que j’étais en grande difficulté. Je n’avais pas
la sensation de prendre de coups durs et je ressens une certaine amertume à
cette décision.

Je suis très déçu de ce résultat mais ce défi, qui sera probablement un des
derniers de ma carrière, sera une expérience exceptionnelle de plus dans
mon parcours…

  

Saiyok reste invaincu ces 8 dernières années de ces 50 derniers combats.
Il à battus tous les Européens et notamment les trois français Mabel ABDALLAH,
Farid VILLAUME et Antuan PINTO. Il est l’actuel champion du Lumpinee stadium,
champion de Thaïlande et champion du monde WMC.

Cédric MULLER à quant à lui plus de 110 combats à son actif,
1 titre intercontinental WMC, 2 titres mondiaux IKF, 2 titres mondiaux WakoPro.

An Interview with Cedric to lighten us about his impressions:

 

First I wanted to thank my family and friends to support me.
I thank Rashid Saad and the RMB Pattaya for giving me this
tremendous opportunity.

The conditions were very difficult indeed to 13h in
Bangkok sun (35 °) is the No. 1 enemy.

Even if I felt comfortable during the first three technically
rounds, melee and hit two scans, I felt great
